Just to update everyone. FDA has approved a new treatment regime for genotype 2 & 3 hepatitis c infection.

It involves using ribavirin according to the body weight of the patient together with the standard dose of Peginteron over a period of only 24 weeks. This is half the normal duration for genotype 1.

The kitchen setting really complements the austere good taste of the outfit.

You’ll have taken that last jab by now. Congratulations, best wishes, and deepest respect! Stock up on anti-histamines. I got a fine itch afterwards. It still annoys some four weeks later. You may want some extra talc with the rubber trousers as well.

Nevermind about the beard! You need to sort out that massive bulge in your trousers first;)
I wish you well HCB……..I think the word ‘Admiration’ is too useless a word to describe what we are all feeling for you! Most, if not all of us can only imagine just how you have managed 72 weeks of tx!

I just finished my ‘prescribed’ 48 the other day & I don’t think I would have managed so well if it wasn’t for my bike……….Waiting for result.
