Istarted the treatment 2 years ago, but i was not able to finish it, because with the methadon and all that, i started to feel really looney. My head played tricks on me. I try it again now, because now i am on morphin-sustitute and i hope that is making it better. your tips are very good, because espacially the sleeping is a real problem.Wish me luck for my next try.

>only 7 more

Wow!

So close you can almost touch it!

Some say the last few weeks are the hardest, keep at them mate time for a grandslam finish:)

And yes, Friday jabs rock!

I'm ok with the cold, not too bad here anyway but I prefer to be a bit on the cold side. Constant battle with the wife who likes things at about 98 degrees so I just sneak round turning radiators off :)

Hey Jimmy welcome aboard, going to be an interesting ride!

>I know we all react differently to the drugs but there are also many similarities.

I agree, take out the top and bottom 10% and you will see a remarkable similarity, doesn't mean there won't be big differences in the "perception" of the side effects. I like to think of my glass as half full rather than half empty.

This is worth a read on side effects, puts some numbers in there http://hepatitis.va.gov/vahep?page=tp06-cs-01

On the whole I think for the majority treatment is very doable, you are not going to get through it without getting your hair mussed up a little but doable all the same.

>feel the drug coursing thru my system

hehe, I get that too. I can "feel" it as the plunger is going down almost, I assume it is in the mind but that doesn't really make it any less real.

Keep the faith and keep us updated.

Thank you for all your postings! I am 52, M, and began the same course of treatment on Saturday the 17th of December. Your postings answered many of the questions I could not get straight answers to from the medical people I am dealing with. Please keep posting your updates. It is a great help to know what each step of the treatment could hold. I know we all react differently to the drugs but there are also many similarities. The only reaction I had that I have not read about was actually being able to feel the drug coursing thru my system in the hours after the first shot. As it moved thru my system I would get aches and pains in that area. A very strange feeling indeed! Thank you Again!
